I was walking along the beach, waiting for sunset when I walked past an interesting collection of starfish. Their colors looked beautiful against the white coral sand of the beach. Beautiful but sad- I could sense that most of them would be dead soon.
(Ofcourse I did throw them back into the sea after I took this.) I just couldn't help but wonder whether they were arranged that way by some of the kids or whether they were trying to get back on their own.

Nice composition. I'd up the saturation of the reds a bit.

Every time I see starfish stranded on the shore, I try to get some sea water and sprinkle on them in the hope that they can breathe a little. LOL, of course it's pretty dumb, I should just throw them in the water instead, but they feel creepy on the hands.
